    Expert Answer
Yes. You should always remove your makeup before going to bed, or even when you get home if you're okay wearing no makeup at home. Your skin is an organ, and it needs to breathe.
  • Question
What makeup is good for sensitive skin - especially the eyes?
    Community Answer
Use eye shadow with vitamin E in it. It soothes the eye.
  • Question

You can use eyeliner, lipstick and some foundation or powder. Other than that, you might need a mirror and a brush.
  • Question
What would be the best color eyeshadow to wear onstage?
    Leah Stitzel
    Community Answer
This depends on what you're wearing it for, but as long as you aren't doing a production that requires no makeup due to the time period or setup, brighter is better! If your dance group is wearing blue dresses, use bright blue cobalt eyeshadow with heavy pigment. Basically, take whatever color matches your costume and make it much brighter. This is essential for a dramatic look that the audience can actually see. When in doubt, use something with a little gold or silver shimmer.

I'm new to theatre, and my first-ever show is soon. I don't know what the proper stage makeup is for women; is this the best and proper stage makeup for me to wear?

Usually people use thick, heavy makeup so that their expressions are visible; the lights can have too much reflection on the face, blurring expressions. A good kit for stage makeup is the Ben Nye stage makeup kit (foundation, powder, powder puff, cream contour/blush, tiny brush, brow pencil, cosmetic sponge). If you're just looking for foundation, the Kat Von D Lock-it foundation (look for 2 - 3 shades darker than your skin tone) line is heavier than a regular foundation.

How do I make even eyeliner flicks?

Place a piece of tape extending off your lower lash line that points towards the tail end of your brows You won't be drawing a wing that big, but it creates the perfect angle for the wing. Take your liner of choice and starting by the tape, draw a line from the tape to the inner corner of your eye and fill it in. Once you make the thicknesses relatively even on both eyes, take the tape off and you should have a clean line. If you don't have a clean line, take a bit of concealer to clean it up.
