Yes, it will leave a wet spot on the fur. Because the liquid is oily the coat will remain greasy for a few days. If you feel the coat remains oily, wait for at least 48 hours after applying if you decide to wash the dog. Washing too frequently or with too harsh a shampoo can shorten the time Frontline will work.
