How do I treat a crawlspace? Is it sufficient to treat the soil around the perimeter only, or does all of the soil in the crawlspace need to be treated? What depth and width is appropriate for the perimeter?

When treating a crawlspace, the perimeter and any piers should be trenched and treated. The dimensions of your trench should be at least 6" x 6" with every foot of depth doubling the amount of chemical you use. Treating all of the soil under the crawlspace wouldn't hurt, but treating the perimeter and piers is plenty sufficient.

Do I need to trench and treat on both sides when treating a fence with Termidor?

It's definitely best to go right around any structure infested with termites. But not that useful to do the whole house or property. The blighters just need to drag remnants of the Fibronil back to their colony, to slowly kill off the queens and other ants.

How long Is the life expectancy of Termidor once it's put in the ground?

Termidor / Fibronil has a half-life of approx 100 days. Thus, it is not suitable as a long-term treatment. So 4 or 5 months later, it will be ineffective. As a local, spot treatment it's easy, effective and fairly cheap. Termites are very timid, so anything can deter them, but if you have moist, light wood (for example, pine as opposed to jarrah karri) in your garden, termites which are foraging in every property constantly, will find it.
