For Android apps, there's Java; for iOS apps, there is Swift (used to be Objective-C); for websites there is PHP, Javascript and others; for data analytics, Python is commonly used, and so forth. There isn't really a "starting" language, though some would recommend Java, Python, C++, Javascript as the best to start with. It is really dependent on the purpose.
