    Expert Answer
The more you blend, the better. If you're just sweeping an eyeshadow on your eye, it's not going to be blended. If you're applying a dark color to your crease, blend it in a back and forth motion, like a windshield wiper. If you're doing an ombre shadow, use small circular motions. Either way, keep blending until you don't have any harsh edges.

It's all color theory. If you want shadows that look good with blue, use cool tones (blue, green, purple). If you really want your eyes to really really pop, use warm tones (red, yellow, orange). The contrast of cool and warm is a statement, so be sure to know when it's appropriate to wear something so bold.

Put on a little eyeshadow at a time, being careful to tap off your brush, and make sure that there isn't too much pigment. blending as you go will ensure that it will look good. After you practice, I'm sure that it will look amazing. Also, remember to lightly move your brush in small circles when blending, and for glitter, use your finger.
