How do I raise my GPA average when in high school when entering junior and senior year?

Take more honors and AP classes, or even dual enrollment if your school allows that. Dual enrollment allows you to take college courses, usually at community colleges, for both college and weighted high school credit. If you're interested in extracurricular classes, like choir or woodworking, there is a caveat that they will lower your weighted GPA since they usually don't have honors courses for those fields, therefore only scored at a maximum of 4 points. However, participating in extracurriculars does wonders for rounding out your application and make you stand out as a student with a passion for learning and trying new things.
