How do you get rid of bad luck in an object?

Remove the object from your life. Its bad karma won't travel with it because it is situational, associated with your bad memories of it and whomever it was once attached to. You could dispose of it, recycle it, repurpose it or donate it. If you want to keep it, try putting it somewhere else in the house where it takes on a different meaning for you. However, if it really brings up bad memories, feelings, responses in you, then it's best to get rid of it.
