How do I locate password on router? What is SSID?

SSID is your Wi-Fi name. To update the password, go to Wireless Security and change your SSID (Wi-Fi name). Below that is where you change your password. Do not change anything else in wireless security though, just your password.

Can you really get in trouble with your ISP if all you have to do is reset before you hand it back right?

No, because the strike system doesn't give the ISP the authority to have you arrested or fined, it will only matter if you get sued or prosecuted for copyright infringement, and in the US and similar legal systems, the ISP cannot do that.
