  • Question
How should I talk while playing cards?
    Community Answer
Most people just stick to casual small talk, but if you want to try to bluff, just lie to the other players about your hand, "Oh man, this hand stinks, I should really fold," "You're not going to believe this hand I've got," etc.
  • Question
Should I mark a blue deck with blue and a red deck in red?
    Community Answer
Yes! If you mark a red deck with blue and vice versa then it is clear that it is marked. So when marking it, mark it the color of the deck.
  • Question
Is it cheating when someone shuffles the deck face up?
    Community Answer
Yes. Part of the point of shuffling is not knowing what order the cards are going to be in.
  • Question
How do I cheat when I am playing and someone else shuffled and seated up?
    Community Answer
Use the bicycle deck method. If you are playing with a different backed deck you could try a different code, i.e. write 1 for a king, 2 for a queen and so on. This way, if anyone notices, they will hopefully get the wrong value.
  • Question
When dealing out cards, you deal from the left on half and then start dealing to the right, it this cheating?
    Community Answer
In some games and places, yes. All professional games and games with money involved are dealt left to right and will never switch mid deal or any deal. If you're playing with your friends and there is no rule against it and they don't care then have fun but it's not "allowed" by any other standard.
