Can I do the same on the inside as well as to the outside?

If you have an after-market tint on the inside of your windows, you'll want to avoid ammonia-based cleaners, as they will cause damage. Some glass cleaners, like Sparkle, don't contain ammonia. Other than that, you can basically treat the inside of the car like the outside.
