The same thing is not possible, as this is only in the software used on your MacBook. Although there are ways to recreate the effect, it is better to just use a MacBook (as the other way is much harder).
  • Question
Can I save the credits to use in multiple iMovies? And if so, how?
    Community Answer
You can! If you highlight the credits section so it is selected, copy it (Command + C), create a new project, click in the empty timeline, paste it in (Command + V) and save it as a file (File -> Share... -> File). Your credits is now its own video file that you can drag into the end of whichever project you need it for.

  • Question
How can I change the font size of a specific line in iMovie credits without altering the entire text?
    Community Answer
In iMovie, use separate text boxes for headings and body text. Add a new text box for each heading, and adjust the font size individually using the font size slider in the title inspector. This allows you to make the headings larger without affecting the rest of the text.
  • Question
Can I add photos in iMovie that scroll along with the text?
    Tartine Tarot
    Community Answer
Yes, but you will need to use a workaround. You can apply the Ken Burns effect: 1. Add your images where you want your credits. 2. Click on the Crop tool, then apply the Ken Burns effect to create a vertical movement. 3. Click Titles and choose Scrolling credits. 4. Extend the duration as needed.
  • Question
How can I change the direction of the scrolling credits in iMovie?
    Tartine Tarot
    Community Answer
You can only scroll vertically from bottom to top in iMovie. If you need to change the direction, export the snippet with the scrolling credit and re-import it. Then, click Speed and check the Reverse box.
  • Question
I'm using scrolling credits to share personal quotes over each slide, but the text is too crowded. Is there something I'm missing?

    Community Answer
Try using multiple clips for your quotes, as you may have too much text in one clip. Consider entering line breaks or adding spaces at the end of a quote to improve readability.
