QuestionWhat's the name of the bag I can crochet and then wash to "set" it?Jenny MarieCommunity AnswerWhen you say "set" it, do you mean to "felt" the bag? If I understand the question, you need to make the bag from wool. Use very hot water & "rub" the bag a lot. (I am talking about an extreme amount of rubbing.) By hand: use gloves, towels (two or more dishtowels), and a large wooden spoon. Make sure the water is hot but NOT boiling! Stir, rub, squish, squeeze, etc.; the fibers must "tangle." By machine: same concept, but use several "bath" towels. And yes, it will shrink!

QuestionI tried making a bag but instead, it started curling. What should I do now?Javaya RouhlacCommunity AnswerCheck back to see whether you have been losing stitches, or your project isn't straight. Maybe you should take it out and try again. And this time, try using stitch markers and mark wherever you left off. If it continues to curl, then just continue making it and create a border at the end.
