  • Question
I want to get this haircut, but I don't want people to notice that I got a new haircut at school (8th grade). What should I do?
    Community Answer
People will notice if you get a haircut. Don't worry about it. You'll probably get quite a few compliments, and then people will forget about it and move on to talking about something else.
  • Question
Should I show my stylist this if I want to get this haircut? I already have a haircut sort of like this but it's a bit different.

Yes, show your stylist what you want and explain what is different between it and your current style.
  • Question
Could I blend in the back?
    Community Answer
    Yes, you could.
  • Question
How long does my hair have to be to try this hairstyle? And how long would it take me to grow it that long?

    Community Answer
It depends on the length. The average time to grow out hair for an undercut is approximately 3-6 months (or more), as hair grows 1/2 inch per every month. Try growing it out a little on the longer side - up to the middle of your ear (when combed over to the side).
  • Question
Is it possible to do the undercut without gel? And how do you master it?
    BenDawson
    Community Answer
The undercut is typically slicked back or textured with hair spray, pomade or gel. I personally use a dime sized amount for my undercut, and sometimes, I just use dry shampoo and tie it into a ponytail or comb it over.
  • Question
I have thick hair. Can I get an undercut?
    BenDawson
    Community Answer
You can. Both men and women can rock it. I'm a guy, and I too have thick hair, and it used to reach down to my lower lip. I had an undercut on the back of my head and I slicked my hair back. Getting an undercut should help decrease the thickness. Currently, I have a faded undercut with my length reaching up to the top of my ear.
