Sprinting is one of the best ways to build your legs up and improve the power of your kicks. Lunges and squats are a great option as well. You can also wear a weighted vest to increase the amount of resistance. A lot of this comes down to practicing your mechanics, though. Get in the gym and work on making your kicks as perfect as you can!

It depends on the direction it’s coming from, and from the height of the person coming towards you. The best way to avoid one is by backing away, or rolling away. Roll forwards, then spin on your heel so you do not have your back to your opponent for too long. If your opponent is quicker than you are, they could easily defeat you.

It really depends on how you do the kicks, your opponent, and what you pair your kick with. The tornado kick is near the top of the most powerful kicks, however.
