    Expert Answer
The best way would be to get your torrent from a trusted source, like a website you trust or a person you actually know. However, since that's not always possible, make sure you have a solid antivirus and antispyware program so you can scan the file as soon as it's finished downloading.

You can either burn it to a DVD-R using your computer's software for doing this, or look into a program such as Alcohol 110%, which allows you to create virtual drives from ISO files.

  • Question
What if I downloaded a game, but I don't have a program to open it with?

Most games you download are in compressed form or. rar format, so installing Winrar will allow you to open it, and as far as I know it can even extract ISO files, so this should be all you need.

  • Question
I downloaded a game, but the instructions say that I have to "unrar" it and then "burn" or "mount" it, and then click "install". What does "unrar" and "burn/mount" mean?
    Community Answer
To un-rar, you need to download an app like Winrar or 7zip, then to burn or mount, you'll need to find a program that'll open an ISO file. The program will most likely have an .exe file. you should then find the install button on the program and let the install do it's thing for however long it'll take. Then, if it is an illegal copy, you might need to copy the crack for the program. open the folder up and copy the contents, then paste it in the location that the game is installed to.
  • Question
How do I know if my computer can handle playing a game on it?
    Community Answer
Check your PC specs, then search the specs of the game. Now you know if your computer can handle it or not. If you are downloading games from Steam, then when you scroll down, it explains the system requirements for the game.
