QuestionHow do you draw the Eiffel Tower for kids?Drew Hawkins1Community AnswerYou can draw a simple Eiffel Tower sketch that would be easier for kids to try. Start by drawing a straight line down the middle of your paper to use as a guide. Put a little square with a triangle on it and a small antenna to be the viewing platform at the top of the tower. Then, draw 2 horizontal rectangles perpendicular to the line for the viewing platforms. Make curved lines form the corners of the square to the corners of the rectangle at the bottom of your tower. After that, draw curved lines parallel to the first ones so they come from the center. Add 45-degree angled lines coming down from the bottom rectangle, and then draw an upside-down curve between the tower's legs so they're connected. After that, you can draw horizontal lines between the parallel curves and then add an "X" in each of the rectangles to finish your basic drawing.

QuestionHow do you draw the lines in the Eiffel Tower?Drew Hawkins1Community AnswerThe Eiffel Tower has an iconic design that isn't super difficult to draw, even though it may look complex. Once you've got the basic shape of the tower sketched out, you can start to add straight horizonal lines between the curves of the lines to form what are called girders, which are structure supports. Begin at the tip of the tower and draw straight horizontal lines from one of the outer curved lines to the other to make small rectangles. After that, you can add an X-shape between each of the horizontal lines that you just drew to replicate the cross supports in the design. Make sure the ends of the X connect with the corners of the space so it looks like they’re attached to the tower.

QuestionHow do you color the Eiffel Tower?Drew Hawkins1Community AnswerIn real life, the Eiffel Tower is actually a pretty neutral color that's made up of 3 shades of brown. In fact, the brown color is called "Eiffel Tower brown" because of how specific it is. It's darker at the base of the tower and gets lighter the higher up the tower goes, which makes it look like it's the same shade from a distance. But if you're coloring a sketch of the Eiffel Tower, you can just use 1 color. Choose a light brown or a dark beige color and fill in the metal between the empty spaces created by the girders.
