I have both Intel H.D. and AMD installed on my PC. When I used the run method, the Intel H.D. was on the display page with an approximate memory of 4 GB and AMD was on an other page named 'render' with an approx memory of 6 GB. Is my AMD card even being utilized by the PC, and is my total graphic capacity 10 GB?

As long as your cable from your monitor is plugged into your AMD card and not your motherboard, you will be using the GPU. You do not have 10 GB, you only get the 6 GB from the AMD card.
