What do you mean by double-spaced?

Double-spaced just means every other line of text is blank, which makes it easier to read as well as to proofread and mark edits on the page. Usually this is found under "formatting" or "paragraph". You can choose "1", "1.5", or "2". Choose "2" for double-spacing.

If your title was "The wonderful and mysterious works of Mr. Taco Man" the title would be way too long. If you would shorten it to " Works of Taco Man" it would look more appealing to potential publishers. That is all it is and all you have to do.
