Of course, it is pretty easy. Press and hold Triangle, Square, Start, and Select to reset the console. This only works if you soft-modded the PSP, it does not work for hard-modded.

I'm having trouble extracting and copying the file to my PSP 1004. I extracted the files with Winrar and get a format called PBP, shouldn't the format be ISO?

You are getting the correct format. Maybe you didn't understand the steps correctly -- you have to go to the PSP folder in your PSP and there you will see the folder game where you have to put the files.

How do I install games to a hacked PSP?

If the PSP is unlocked, you connect it to your PC, and in the root, create a folder named "ISO" in caps. It won't work if you do it like "iso." When you've created the folder, just download an ISO or CSO game and put them into the folder you've just created. Now, another method is with the "Eboot" games, these games don't require a hacked PSP, but what you need to do is: Connect your PSP, enter the PSP folder, and into the GAME folder, put the Eboot games.
