Can I install Windows 10 using new desktop computer with HDTV instead of a monitor? Can I enter bios using HDTV instead of monitor?

All modern monitors now come with HDMI, along with DVI or SVGA or both. Some of them have even shed all other ports except HDMI. What this means is that other than the display resolution and other qualitative features, there is no difference between an HDTV and a monitor. Use the computer attached to a HDTV in any way you like, including OS installation, BIOS reconfiguration, hardware upgrades, etc.

There are a couple possible explanations. Are you using an HDMI cord to hook up your TV, or are you using component cables? If you're using component cables, are they hooked up in the right order, and are they securely plugged in? Have you downloaded the most current updates for your sound card drivers?

I have my PC hooked to my TV via the HDMI cable. When watching a Netflix movie, how do I get rid of the Internet Explorer line on top of screen? I clicked F8, and it still did not go away.
