You will need to be careful as you install the insulation around the wiring and outlets.
  • Question
Does insulation go over or behind wiring?
    Andy Orr
    Community Answer
Sort of both, you make a shallow cut/score horizontally across the batt and slide half of the fiberglass behind the wire and flab, with the remaining half in front of the wire - essentially sandwiching the wire in-between the fiberglass.

  • Question
I have an 8' x 6' foot garden shed, and I get a lot of black mildew in winter months. What should I do?
    Community Answer
Try adding some sand around the areas that are affected. It will keep the moisture down.
  • Question
Can I leave a shed open, or do I need to put up sheetrock after installing insulation?
    Community Answer
Insulation will get moist and attract mold if exposed. Start with clean and dry insulation, staple the kraft paper batt to the sides of the studs, and cover the insulation with drywall or plywood to keep the insulation relatively dry throughout its life.
  • Question
Do I need to install a vent for the space above the ceiling insulation in my shed?
    Community Answer
