    Expert Answer
Give your dog outlets for their energy. Consider giving them a bull stick to chew, as that can occupy your dog's time and help them get their energy out. A Kong toy filled with peanut butter can also keep your dog's interest.

We have 4 front porch steps out to the yard. Is it okay for my 7 month old 60 pound puppy to go up and down them after being neutered? Tootsie is way too heavy to carry him.

Yes. It is alright for them to go up and down the stairs after being neutered. Just keep a close eye on them when they are going up and down and make sure they are going slowly and not running up and down them.
  • Question
My dog was spayed 4 days ago she was obviously very sleepy that day as expected. She was more like her old self the next day but now it's the fourth day and she seems sleepy and is very subdued.
    Community Answer
This is normal. Being spayed takes the energy level down in all dogs. However, if she doesn't seem to be herself such as personality wise, it is worth a vet trip just to make sure everything is alright.
