Can I use a flour other than soy, which is GMO? I'm not sure if genetically modified soy flour is good for cats.

Cow's milk can make your cat sick, as it is not intended to be consumed by cats. The lactose in the milk cannot be broken down by adult cats, and can cause them discomfort and diarrhea. Use water instead.

Is this ok for a cat with a history of UTI's? He is on a special veterinary diet and I don't want to chance another infection but at $100/bag this is tempting.

Ask your vet. The veterinary diet may contain specific ingredients that help your cat not in this kibble. You may be able to use less of the veterinary diet if the vet says the kibble is okay occasionally or you may be able to feed some of each as your cat's meals so you need less of the expensive food?

If you're not able to add the brewers yeast, you can still make the kibble but it won't be as nutrious for your cat.
  • Question

    HumanBeing

No. This kibble doesn't provide all the nutrients needed for a cat to stay healthy. Feed wet food, such as the chicken and vegetable medley described in the article, in addition to this kibble, on a regular basis.
