  • Question
Is it possible to use different kinds of flowers on one chain?
    Community Answer
I would say there is no reason you couldn't use different flowers in one chain. It would look very pretty.
  • Question
Will this work for those tiny daisys that you find growing in grass fields?
    Elizabeth Bolster
    Community Answer
Yes, as long as the stem is thick enough to slide the other daisy through. You can use any kind of flower.
  • Question
Will these fall apart easily? If so, are there any ways to get them to stay together better?
    T. Chinsen

Daisy chains will stay together even when they dry out. Use floral tape to wrap the stems as an added support. For a natural wrap, a long blade of grass or cotton twine can also provide additional support.
  • Question
Can I make a braid with garden daisies?
    T. Chinsen
    Top Answerer
Any daisy that has a stem like the ones in the pictures can be braided into a daisy chain. If the stems are stiff and inflexible, then they will not bend and cannot be braided.
  • Question
Can I make this in plastic flowers for a head crown?
    Mercy Wilson
    Community Answer
Yes, you can do so. But if you do, you may want to use a sharper knife, such as a craft knife, to cut the flower stems if you are using the first method. Also, do so with great care to avoid slipping and accidentally cutting yourself.
  • Question
    Can I use any plant?
    Télla Smith
    Community Answer
As long as the plant has a stem like the daisy stem in the pictures, then yes, you could use another plant if you'd like. However, some stems are less flexible than others, so you have to experiment.
