It can be easy to reduce your negative impact on a personal level. If your parents are more open to things, you can try making your own toothpaste, deodorant, etc (to reduce waste). If they aren't open to things like that, you can try doing it on your own (all the ingredients are pretty cheap and none of it is difficult to make). You can also reduce water use easily. If you shave, turn the shower down or off while shaving. If you wash your face, turn the faucet off while doing that.
