Connect 4 is a game for 2 players, no more and no less. Each player takes turns in introducing a disk into the grid. It is also, incidentally, a solved game. I.e. the player who plays first can always win if using a certain strategy, regardless of the other player's moves. Of course, if you have multiple sets of the game, more people can play simultaneously, or if you want to make teams, you can do that too.
