    Expert Answer
Playing Monopoly at a faster pace hinges on the preferences and speed of your fellow players. If they are inclined to move quickly, the game will naturally progress faster. Conversely, if participants take their time and engage in thorough analysis and paralysis when making decisions, the game may proceed more slowly. Playing by yourself could potentially expedite the game, but when playing with others, the speed is determined by their playing style and preferences.

  • Question
What are the things in the title deed card?
    Community Answer
You have the mortgage value written on the back of the card. When you mortgage a property, put face down the title deed card of the property you're mortgaging, and then get the mortgaged value shown on the back. It also lists rent value. When people land on your property, they must pay you rent. The rent amount is shown on the TDC. If you have more than one property on a square, the card indicates how much rent you can charge for those properties. The cost of buying property is shown at the bottom of the Title Deed card.

You can always make trades with other players to get properties you need (offering money if need be), and this can even make the game more fun and interesting.

  • Question
I don't remember that the property goes up for auction if you don't buy it when you land. Has that always been the way to play?
    Community Answer
It has always been a rule, but most people don't play with it and so it isn't often known. However, it is a good way to prevent the game from taking too long, which is one of the biggest complaints about the game. If you play with the auctioning rule, the properties all get bought a lot faster and then the game ends more quickly. That said, if you don't mind the game pacing and you're not used to playing with that rule, you don't have to incorporate it.
