Often the "spirit" can be someone's subconscious thoughts, opinions or information they don't remember receiving. It's hard to decipher whether or not a spirit is genuinely a spirit or someone's subconscious. If you do not have someone who is somehow connected to the spirit world the chances of summoning a real spirit is low. (signs such as being easily effected by others emotions and being able to tell if someone is being genuine or faking an emotion can signify that that person is an impath and is more susceptible to spirit interactions. Keep in mind that this is only one example of a type of spirit communicator).

It depends on which way you will summon the spirit. Never play the Ouija board alone, since you are a very easy target. If at any time you feel very scared, unwell, or hear anything strange, end the game immediately. I wouldn't recommend trying those rituals, since you are involving yourself in black magic. Contacting the dead is dangerous, since you never know who are you really talking to, especially when using a Ouija board.
