Yes, plucking is a very safe method of hair removal for men and women. Just grasp each hair firmly as close to the root as possible and pull in a smooth motion. Women's facial hair is often softer than men's and easier to tweeze.

Tweezing can sometimes damage the follicle, but generally it doesn't lesson the hair's density or thickness the way waxing does and it isn't permanent.

  • Question
What do I do if I get bumps after plucking my facial hair?

Stop plucking! If you are getting bumps after you pull out your hair it means that your growing pimples in those spots or your hairs are becoming infected. If it is all of your hairs than it probably isn’t infection. When your facial hair gathers dirt around it’s edge when you pluck it out than the dirt can fall into those holes and create pimples and/or infection. Try your best to wash your face all the times and if a man wash moustache and beard for any gender you can also wash your eyebrows.
