  • Question
I have recently done a hair relaxing. How can I get back my curls naturally?
    Shanitra Potier
    Community Answer
You will have to wait for all of the chemicals to grow out. Once you get a decent amount of new grow, you can chose to do "the big chop" or continue to let it grow out. Transitioning is very frustrating, but try to avoid constantly using heat to make it look presentable, because this will greatly affect your curl pattern later on. The use of protective styles is best during transitioning.

  • Question
My hair has become very frizzy. Will mayonnaise help in any way?
    Claire Compton
    Community Answer
While it may help reduce frizziness, it will also leave your hair very oily and may leave an unpleasant odor. There are certain mayonnaise masks that involve leaving mayo in your hair for 2-3 minutes, then wash them out, but this is only recommended for people with extreme heat damage or very dry hair. Argan oil works well but it is expensive, but there are other leave-in oils that can also tame frizzy hair.
