Claw is putting your index finger on the circle/B triangle/Y square/X A/X buttons instead of on the trigger, so you will be able to cancel equipment, swap, reload, etc. Stretch is taking your left thumb and putting it on the right analog stick so you can take your right thumb and use the four buttons mentioned above.

What about non bolt action snipers?

Semi-auto snipers are always good but be careful and use FMG (full metal jacket, damage increase) because the recoil on them is terrible. So, if you're doing rapid shots make sure to try to use ballistics CPU and FMG because you can end up shooting someone in the leg then it ending up on their head. try XPR50 as a semi auto.
