I have a Jenn Air fridge with a freezer on the bottom. Every day or two I am finding water on the floor and there seems to be a buildup of ice on the bottom of the freezer. Why is this happening?

This is likely happening because you have a defrost problem, specifically in the defrost drain. The defrost drain gets clogged with debris, or even ice, causing a blockage. When the evaporator defrosts, the water doesn't drain, but instead, spills over into the bottom of the cabinet. Therefore, eventually making its way onto the floor.

My GE refrigerator's freezer compartment was open all night. Has now run 24 hours straight. Will it eventually stop, and is the freezer OK?

It should be. It will eventually stop when it reaches the set temperatures. If you notice ice build-up around your doors, you can remove this with a warm washcloth. Don't try to overcompensate by changing the temperature setting. Just leave it at the factory-recommended setting.
