  • Question
How much would a white oak 50 year old dresser be worth?
    Community Answer
Not more than $100. Solid wood is great for refinishing and durability, but it is most likely mass produced and not collectable.
  • Question
How much would a 10 year old bed be worth?
    Community Answer
It depends how nice the frame is. If there are multiple scratches then it would not be worth much but with very little scratches and of high quality, you might be able to make decent money from it.

  • Question
How do I know how much to charge for my high end used furniture?

You could try hiring an appraiser, or check out how much it cost originally, the condition (marks, burns, etc.) and go from there. You can also try doing some research online to see what similar pieces are going for.
  • Question
I just bought a chair that was originally $4,000. The furniture store was going out of business (retiring). I got a good deal, but now I wish I hadn't spent the money. What do I do now?

The best thing to do now is to put it in storage, or if you have space at home, put it in your home and use it until you find a buyer. You only need one buyer, after all. Of course, the cost of storage will be deducted from your profit margin.
