Your puppy needs lots of socialization! If you don’t socialize your puppy, it will become insecure and will not like being around new people and animals. This can result in your dog biting guests or being aggressive.

Being consistent with your training is key. If you're always changing the rules and your training techniques, you'll end up confusing your puppy. Consistency will help your puppy learn what is expected of them.
  • Question
How do I choose a Labrador when I'm buying one?
    Community Answer
In a manner of speaking, it's actually the puppy that picks you. When you meet the puppies, you will most likely get to interact with several of them. Whichever puppy gets along best with you and/or your family will be the perfect one for you.

Show them that you’re responsible in other ways such as always completing your homework (and turning it in on time) and doing any chores that you have without needing to be reminded to do them. Also, if you already have other pets, help care for them as much as possible. However, be sure not to complain if they say no, and instead politely ask them why so you understand their reasoning.

If your puppy is going to sleep outdoors, a plastic kennel, with additional soft bedding to keep them cosy, is a good option, as they are easy to clean and well insulated.
