    Expert Answer
Throwing cards accurately requires a lot of time, practice, and familiarity with handling a deck of cards. Start by getting comfortable holding the cards in your hand, allowing yourself to get a feel for their weight and texture. Practice holding the cards in different positions, experimenting with grips and finger placements to find what works best for you. Once you feel confident in your grip, begin practicing throwing and flicking the cards. Focus on the motion of your wrist and the amount of force you apply to the cards to achieve the desired distance and accuracy. Adjust your technique as needed, paying attention to the angle and release of the cards to improve your accuracy over time. With consistent practice and patience, you'll gradually develop the skill and precision required to throw cards accurately.
  • Question
Are red rock cards fine to throw with?
    Community Answer
Yes they are, but I would strongly recommend getting banshee throwing cards as they can hold up better than regular cards.
  • Question
What kinds of cards are the best for throwing?
    Community Answer
Usually Bicycle, or cards similar to it with that plastic covering that makes them a lot more durable.
  • Question
How do I stop my cards from swinging around after I throw them? My cards always turn a bit to the right.
    Community Answer
There is no easy way to stop it, but I usually throw my cards a little left of the target. This happens mostly because of the spin.
  • Question
How do I get it to stick in to fruit and focus the spin?
    Community Answer
By flicking your wrist and getting more spin and force on the card's spin so it hits the target and pierces.
  • Question
How do I make the card fly farther?
    Community Answer
Put it between your middle and ring finger. Flick your wrist while throwing to add spin.
  • Question
When do I let go of the card?
    Community Answer
You should let go once your fingers are pointed at the target; this makes the card fly straight to where you are pointing. You may need to adjust your positioning slightly if you are missing the target.
  • Question
Do I need to use regular cards only, or can I use special ones like razor cards?
    Community Answer
You can use normal cards like Bicycle, but razors would be better for slicing.
  • Question
Can I use an old credit card?
    Community Answer
Yes, but it will feel a bit different. I recommend filing off the numbers and letters on the face of the card if it’s not active anymore. Also, it’s width and weight are slightly different from throwing cards, but they are much more durable.
  • Question
What do I do if the cards get ripped when trying to throw cards accurately?
    Community Answer
If you bought the deck for throwing, use another card. If you bought them for playing games with, assess the damage - can you still use it? If so, great. If not, you will need to buy a new deck.
  • Question
When ever I throw the cards they always go to the place that I don't wand the cards to go. I need to improve my accuracy. Can you help?
    Ash

Make sure to release the card towards the target you want to hit. The timing is critical when throwing cards, and if you release it a second too early or late, it could mess up your shot.
  • Question
    Can I throw multiple cards?
    Ash
    Community Answer
There are multiple ways you can throw cards. You can put multiple in the same spot your first card is, and It'll act more like a shotgun of cards. The second way is to put one between your pointer and middle finger, your middle and ring finger, and your ring and pinkie finger. This technique is more advanced and takes a lot of time to master it.

  • Question
Can I throw UNO cards very accurately because it's the only one I have?
    James Weatherford
    Community Answer
You can use any card. The heavier the card, the more powerful the throw, while thinner, lighter cards allow for more accuracy with practice. UNO cards are heavier than normal cards so aim will be harder, but power will be easier.
