How can I put a picture from my own pictures on a board?

Go to the little plus button (if using on phone) and your gallery will open. Select the Picture of your choice and press "Pin It". You can select which board to put it with a reasonable caption.

I'm signed in to Pinterest, but don't see a "Pin it" button or drop-down menu with the option to add photos. What am I missing?

You need to install the "Pinterest Save Button" add-on for your browser. Then you can save any picture you want with that little plugin just by clicking that button.

Photos which I have taken in portrait orientation appear in landscape orientation in Pinterest. How can I fix this?
