  • Question
In Vietnam, blackjack cards are counted as: Ace = 1 or 11, two through ten worth their number, and face cards all worth 10. Is that right?
    Community Answer
    That is correct.
  • Question
When counting, when do I bet high?
    Community Answer
You bet high when you're running total is above 0. If it is above 0, that means that there are more face cards and aces than if the running total is below 0. When the running total is high, you have a higher chance of getting above 17 (pat hand) or 21 (blackjack). The dealer also has a higher chance, but you get paid more for getting blackjack than just winning the round.
  • Question
If I have a straight of five cards that is under 21, do I win anything?
    Community Answer
No. Unless the house has special rules or is running a promotion, only the sum of the numerical values of the cards matters.
  • Question
If I have any five cards under 21, will I beat the dealer?
    Chase Ogden
    Community Answer
Yes. If you manage to get a total of five cards without going over, you automatically win, even if the dealer gets blackjack.
