  1. The band release button is on the back of the Apple Watch. To access it, remove your Apple Watch and place it face down on a clean surface.
  2. The band release button is the oval-shaped button right below where the band connects to the watch.

  3. While holding the band release button, slide the band out to the right.
  4. There are two band release buttons on the Apple watch for both sides of the band.
  5. While holding down the band release button, slide the watch band out to the side. The watch band is now removed.

  1. The butterfly closure closes over the Apple Watch. To close it, fold one side over the other until you hear it click.
  2. The quick release button is on the inside of the bracelet.
  3. The links pull apart where the quick release button is at. While holding down the quick release button, gently pull the links apart to separate the bracelet into two pieces.
