If you're tired of seeing posts from a specific Facebook group, you can unfollow that group to stop posts from it from showing up in your feed. When you unfollow a group, you will no longer receive updates for the group, and it will no longer appear in your feed. However, you will still remain a member of the group, and will still be able to participate there if you navigate to it. [1] This is different from leaving a group, where you are removed from the groups member list, can no longer participate, and, if the group is private, cannot view the group anymore.   1. It's at the top righthand corner of the screen.

  2. Under your profile, select the "Groups" option.
  3. It is at the top of the screen. You will then see the list of groups you have joined.
  4. Once inside the group that you want to unfollow, select ☰ at the top left of the screen.This will open a new menu.
  5. This will open up another menu.
  6. A pop-up menu will appear with options for managing your group settings. Tap on "Unfollow Group". [2]

  1. It's at the bottom righthand corner of the screen. This will open up all of the shortcuts.
  2. It's at the top of the app. A list of groups that you have joined will then pop up.
  3. A pop-up menu should then appear.
  4. You will now no longer receive notifications for the group, or see posts from that group on your feed.

  1. Head to facebook.com and log in to your account.
  2. Click on “Groups” below “Find Friends” in the left panel on the page.
  3. You can either search for it using the search bar, or click the "See all" link to view all of the groups you are in.
  4. Once you find the group that you want to leave, click on "Joined".
  5. From the drop-down menu, click on "Unfollow Group". You will now no longer receive notifications from that group. [3]
