      Tips

      • Netflix can burn through data quickly, so if you're on a limited data plan you'll want to monitor your Netflix usage. HD streaming uses about 3 GB of data per hour. 4K streaming uses up to 7 GB of data per hour.
      • You can use the Netflix network checker to see if your network is fast enough for HD streaming. Open the Netflix settings menu on your device by selecting the Gear icon. Choose "Check your Network." Compare the speed results with the recommendations listed at help.netflix.com/en/node/306 . Not all devices support the network checker.
      • You can also enjoy the same TV show or movie with a group of friends spread across the country using Netflix party .
