May 5, 2012 Dear Mr. Drew Brees, Hello! I’m a ten-year-old boy from Lafayette, LA. I am a very big fan of yours. I wanted to write you a letter with my awesome pencil, but my mom said it’s better to be typed. I am telling my mom what to type instead. I hope that you and your family are doing good. It’s been really hot these days, and I think it’s better if we all stayed inside. It’s too bad that last season the Saints did not go to the Super Bowl. I hope that you will have a good season and win many games. I plan to wear my special lucky jersey when football season starts. I wish I could send it to you to sign, but my mom said that you might forget about it because you get a ton of letters from people and don’t have the time to write them back. I wish you the best of luck. I know you are the best quarterback in the NFL. I hope that when you read my letter, it will make you happy to think about Lafayette. I’m sending a small card for you to sign and an envelope with my address for when you to send it back. I hope you write back, but if not, it’s okay. I’m just happy you get to read my letter. Sincerely, Adam Banks
