June 14, 2012 Dear Josh, I have been thinking a lot about our relationship lately, and I feel that it would be best for both of us if we moved on and started seeing other people. I have enjoyed the time we have spent together and will always treasure those memories. However, I can’t help but feel as if I may be holding you back. You have such amazing musical talent. I know that you aspire to go far in your career, and I have the utmost faith that you will indeed do so. You’ve always said that I couldn’t handle the nomadic nature of life on the road, and unfortunately I have to agree with you. However, I will no longer let you sit around waiting for one of us to give up their desires or change their mind. Go. Be free. Do your thing.
