Shrimp Pasta Recipe
Ingredients:
* 8 oz. pasta (such as linguine, spaghetti, or fettuccine)
* 1 lb. pre-cooked shrimp, thawed if frozen
* 2 tbsp. butter
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1/4 cup dry white wine (optional)
* 1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
* 1/4 cup heavy cream
* 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
* Salt and pepper, to taste
* Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
Add the pre-cooked shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, until heated through.
Pour in the white wine (if using) and chicken or vegetable broth. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the liquid has reduced slightly.
Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until the pasta is coated in the sauce.
