South Indian
Traditional South Indian Hindu wedding receptions are dry, so there will be no alcohol served. Instead, you can serve water, tea, coffee, and mocktails, such as the following:
* Mangolicious mocktail: mango puree, fresh squeezed lemon juice, honey, and Greek yogurt
* Infused cucumber water with lemongrass and lime
* Citrus wallah: fresh lime juice, sugar, and Limca Splash
North Indian
Besides the basics (water, tea, coffee, wine, and beer), here are some fun cocktails to serve at a traditional North Indian Hindu wedding:
* Rainbow mojito: Cachaca rum muddled with sugar, watermelon, fresh raspberry, and fresh blueberry and topped off with club soda
* Nagpur orange mojito: Cachaca rum and elderflower syrup muddled with a nagpur orange, chopped coriander, and a pinch of salt and topped off with club soda
* Passion-fruit & lychee martini: vodka, lychee liqueur, passion fruit nectar, guava nectar, fresh squeezed lemon, and simple syrup
