August 20, 2012 Dear Kayla, I just wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed spending the summer as camp counselors together. I can hardly believe that our time together is coming to an end. Getting to know you has been one of the best parts of my summer. Even though we only met in May, I somehow feel as if we’ve been friends all our lives. I hope you’ll be back to work as a counselor next year. I’d love to get to spend another fun summer together before we both graduate college and go off to join the “real world.” Until then, let’s try to keep in touch!
