Classic Hummus * 4 cloves of garlic * Juice of 1 lemon * 1 15-ounce (425 g) can of garbanzo Beans, drained and rinsed * 2 tablespoons (36 g) of tahini * ½ teaspoon (2.5 g) sea salt * ½ teaspoon (1 g) cayenne pepper * ½ teaspoon (1 g) paprika * 3 tablespoons (45 ml) olive oil * 2 tablespoons (30 ml) water * 2 tablespoons (8 g) fresh parsley, chopped * Pour the lemon juice into the tall cup and add the garlic, drained garbanzo beans, tahini, salt, cayenne, paprika, olive oil, and water. Screw the extractor blade onto the cup and push it blade-side down onto the power base to pulse the shake. Then push the blade down for 20 seconds to completely blend the hummus. Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl and sprinkle it with the chopped parsley. Serve the hummus with pita chips or vegetables.
