I don’t know where you’re getting your numbers from, but under nfd/duplicate there are 199 articles. In looking at the numbers on the pages in the nfd category, I counted more than 630. Did I miss something?

There might be that many total NFD articles, but the articles that are in the actual NFD guardian does not include anything in the NFD advanced — and anything that is not 7 days old. Meaning that if you were looking at the list on the 21st, the NFD Guardian will not count anything that was nominated on and after the 15th.
^What she said. As for where we’re getting them from, the Community Dashboard has the correct count of articles actually in the queue. When I took a break about 2 months ago there were over 900!
Does that mean there have been well over 500 articles nfd in 7 days?
