Hey people! I’ve just started a new article( http://www.wikihow.com/Get-Started-with-Android-Smartphones ) and I would certainly like the expertise of other authors in the community. It still needs a lot of work, some images, punctuation, grammar etc. However I don’t have a lot of time on my hands right now. So , I’m publishing the article with the tags ‘inuse’ and ‘copyedit’. Feel free to edit the article to make it better, however please follow a few guidelines before editing: 1. Consider thoroughly before adding any images. I have taken some screenshots from my phone, although I haven’t uploaded them. so it is most likely to be replaced. 2. Please leave a message on my talk page, if you make an edit, however small it may be. 3. Please ‘’‘do not’’’ remove any tags that I have placed. If you feel like a tag should be added or perhaps removed, please consult with me first. It may seem like I’m not really giving anyone the liberty to edit my article, but I just want this article to be fantastic. I hope you’ll help me straighten out the kinks in my article! Just reminding, please leave a message for any edits that you may make. Thanks!

I did some copyediting on it, as well as categorizing it. I also sent you a message about it, as requested.

Hey Helper! I saw your article, it was good! I just want to let you know that because its a collaborative site, and people may not see this forum posting, That those tags may be removed once a booster is done! I just want to let you know so you are aware that your tags could be removed by someone else once they think your article is good enough!

I’ll save a draft just in case. Thanks for the heads up!

@HelperT2895 The way you chose to tag and communicate about this article seems counterproductive. The inuse tag says not to edit your article, yet you openly invite people who read this thread to edit at will and, further, you invite edits via the copyedit tag. However, I think most people will just skip articles articles tagged inuse if they find one in the greenhouses or in RC Patrol. The inuse tag is used to reserve edits for one individual to the exclusion of all others. Therefore, I would suggest that you not place any more inuse tags unless you plan to personally edit the articles. Also, be aware that you can get automatically emailed notice of edits to your article or ask that notice of edits be placed on this thread without burdening RC Patrol . Why don’t you use the collaboration mechanisms that are already in place instead of creating special protocols for your article?

Sorry, I do not know Android at all.:slight_smile:I can not help for this.

Since, I’m back , and have some free time, I shall look over the article and complete the missing bits. Thanks to everyone who made a contribution. Cheers! - HT2895
