From an old forum game about six years ago. Follow the rules in this order (i.e. admin over booster/welcomer, booster/welcomer over featured authors, featured authors over other users).

Administrators subtract 2 from the score.

Boosters and welcomers subtract 1 from the score.

Featured authors add 2 to the score.

All other users add 1 to the score.

Admins, boosters, and welcomers win if they reach -1000 or less, and featured authors and other users win if they reach 1000 or more. The score resets to zero if one team wins. Count starts at zero, and you cannot double post.

I just want to point out here that the rules are ambiguous. Most individuals who have a badge have more than one and up to four. For example, what is an admin who is a featured author supposed to post?

I propose that:

  • If you are an admin, you subtract 5, regardless of what other badges you have.
  • If you are a booster, you subtract 2, regardless of what other badges you have.
  • If you are a welcomer, you subtract 1 even if you are also a featured author.
  • If you are a only a featured author and have no other badges, you add 2.
  • If you have no badges, you add 1.

I doubt too many admins will be posting in this game. Perhaps the original poster in this game should decide what is equitable and unambiguous, then post the revised rules in the original post and in a current post?
