Hi Mike16576, I’d recommend you visit http://www.wikihow.com/Become-a-wikiHow-Admin
if you haven’t already seen it, this might give you some ideas about what’s expected. I can’t speak for other Admins having only just graduated as one, but Admin nominations would mean you would need to take some time to become more familiar with wikiHow and other Admins. Ideally you should be active for a few months rather than a few days. I’d been on the site since 2010 so it certainly takes a while to learn your way around. Candidates are usually nominated according to their work and interactions on the site and if successful they are then mentored by Admins for a 3 month trial period, then if that works well, you graduate. It’s quite a commitment to make so Admin-ship isn’t something to be rushed into. But if you are still keen to be an admin in the future, I’d recommend expanding your skills so patrolling recent changes, quality guardian, spell checking and things on the community dashboard, as well as demonstrating a mature, responsible, cool and level headedness on the site including asking for help, which are all good ways to start paving your path towards nomination. http://www.wikihow.com/Special:CommunityDashboard
Also, I advise you to read the new process. http://forums.wikihow.com/discussion/4714/the-new-admin-election-system-trial-adminship/p1
Being a trial admin (on hiatus), I believe you should wait for another admin to ask you. And, try to become more active in the community. =) Even though you may have been here a while, others don’t know how you behave around vandals, or just in general. My two cents (and a providing of an important link). P.S. It is “wikiHow”. Capital “H”, lowercase “w”. *Goes back to hiding* June Days
